A couple of years ago a radio tower was erected in the middle of nowhere (near Hadlington) on the Paudash Trailblazers system.
Yesterday I rode by and noticed the 3 antennas of a cell tower. I turned my phone on & sure enough 4 bars. This got me to thinking that when sledding, if you come across a cell tower (check w/ your cellphone) in a remote area (not in the field beside your house), you might want to save it on your GPS. In case of an emergency getting closer to a tower may be helpful, especially in hilly terrain.
In the future I plan on doing this, but hope I don't have to use it. I'll include any towers marked on the files that I upload to the Data Exchange.
